Core Wisdom is a pathway for returning "home."
This "home" is not a physical one. It is your true essence, your spiritual center. When you are "home," you are connected to the Source of your inner wisdom. You feel within the creative Spirit that pulsates through each and every human being, and through all of creation. You are at home with others, the world and yourself. This way of Being is as natural as breathing. It is who you are.
There is a simple "secret" for living this kind of extraordinary life that transcends all methods, techniques, practices, beliefs, and rituals.
This "secret" is very simple, because the Truth is both simple and powerful. Hopefully, you will not be put off by its lack of complexity, as the ability to embrace simplicity requires an open Heart as well as an open mind (Remember, the ego or false self desires complexity over all else to keep you from the truth of your own limitless nature!).
The simple "secret"to living an extraordinary life filled with inner peace, creativity, joy and fulfillment is this:
Recognize the true voice of your inner wisdom, and listen only to it. Give only this voice and no other power in your life. Let this voice guide you in all that you Be, and in all that you do, and your life will be blessed and filled with inner peace beyond your imaginings.
Perhaps you may be thinking, " I'm willing to do this, but how do I recognize this true voice from all the others I hear within and without?"
This is the perfect question, for the voice of your true Self is like no other.
The Voices of the False Self
The False Self's many voices are always reactive; a stream of judgments, beliefs, opinions, criticisms and comparisons that have been indoctrinated in us since birth, swinging back and forth between approval or invalidation, driven by fear, and dedicated to the illusions of separateness and lack that have one purpose only -- to maintain the survival of the ego's illusion that it is the real you (and to keep you asleep to your true limitless and divine nature).
The emotions that accompany the voices of the ego or false self include anger, blame, sadness, guilt, shame, apathy, depression, envy, desire, pride, and regret. Two fears --- the fear of losing what you've got (money, youth, success, etc.), and the fear of not getting what you want --- are prime indicators that the voices of the ego is directing the show. Know with certainty that when those are the emotions you are primarily experiencing (along with the explanations that self-justify your feelings), the false self is in the driver's seat, and you are asleep to the voice of your inner wisdom.
SILENCE terrifies the false voices of the ego, for it is antithetical to the constant chatter and noise the false self spews out to validate its existence. Silence is to the ego what water is to the Wicked Witch of the North in the land of Oz.
The Voice of Your Inner Wisdom
The Voice of Inner Wisdom is the Divine Voice of Guidance within us. It is your true voice, and is distinct from the many voices of the ego or False Self pretending to be you.
What does this true voice of wisdom sound like?
I use the word "voice" in an expansive way, as the voice of the Self can take many forms. You may experience it as an actual inner voice, or it may arise as a feeling, a sense, an image, a physical sensation, an intuition, a "gut feeling" or just a clear knowing.
The background from which the voice of your inner wisdom arises is SILENCE. This SILENCE is the infinite, sacred silence from which all that is arises.
When you heed and give power to the voice of wisdom, the chatter in your mind subsides, judgments, opinions and beliefs fall away, and you experience a sense that "all is well."
From this Silence, arises the experiences of joy, gratitude, love and Oneness. You hear your own unique "song" in its wisdom. All enduring and striving ceases. You are able to effortlessly and fully BE, present to a peace that passes all understanding.
Then your insights, realizations, knowing, and actions are given by a sense of flow, trust and Divine connection which manifests in the world of form. The voice of your inner wisdom speaks to who you really are, a Son or Daughter of the Divine. It speaks to you as one who is already whole, complete and perfect. It invites you to trust its limitless, infinite knowing, and to act on its loving guidance, which always has your true interests at heart. It invites you to be at "home" in its arms.
LOVE is the medium of its guidance.
GRACE is its delivery system.
DISCERNMENT allows you to recognize that it speaks to you always as an expression of your own true nature.
Core Wisdom is about discerning and listening to your inner wisdom.
Recognize your inner wisdom and give it power in your life.
When you stop giving power to the voices of the false gods of limitation, fear, and separateness, you will discern and organize the world in a new way---you will literally shift reality. Limiting past beliefs and patterns will spontaneously release, unleashing your creativity and natural expression into the world.
Devote time each day to go into the Silence within that awaits you, and follow the instruction given in one of the timeless wisdom traditions:
BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM.
Relax your body. Be still, and know that I AM. Be open to receive, and you will begin to discern your true Voice. Its Loving Presence, in whatever form in takes, will become palpable and real.
Listen to its guidance, and miracles and joy will fill your life. Ask, and you will receive. Then you will realize that you have always been blessed, and that this life is an infinite, unfolding work of art, designed for celebrating the gift and blessing that life is.
