...The greatest shift is my ability to communicate with others, especially strangers or peers in the business world, and be direct with them without fear. Since the course, I'm no longer a "pleaser," and I stoke myself out saying "No" to a lot of time consuming offers. I also smile at everyone. That's big. It's easy in Hawaii, but to bring it home to my little town has made such a wonderful difference. I feel like every cashier at every store, every waiter and waitress, even local police, are learning my name and face and they see me coming and are eager to talk with me and borrow some of my jolly. And I feel I have plenty to share.
I used to bother with writer's block or internal reasons/fears to not finish a story or song. When I returned home from the course, I exploded onto the pages. It was as if someone gave me a tool box to draw colors, words and ideas from, and when I opened it up, the universe was inside.
