Living Your Core Wisdom: Allowing Mom and Me to BE

(The real value of Core Wisdom is not in intellectually understanding the principles, but in integrating and living them in our daily lives. This past week, I received an inspiring email message from Ken, a participant in the "Being-Dissolving-Creating" TeleCoaching Sessions that took place in November and December. Given how many of us will be with family during the Holiday Season, Ken has given me permission to share with you the Holy-Day season transformation he had in his relationship with his mother through his living from the Wisdom principles of his true nature. In-Joy! ---Hal)

Hi Hal:

My trip to my mom's was remarkable in that it was unremarkable. One of my intentions from the Core Wisdom teleconference was to allow my mom to be herself. I was mostly successful in that. It was more difficult to allow me to be me with her. However, I eventually allowed my judgments and annoyances to just be and allowed both of us to be us. I had no stunning realizations or insights to report. I was just being with Mom. Now that I'm back home again, I realize that in the past I've striven to save her from her/our past in order to reach some sort of idealized present of familial bliss. With that came the looking for proof that we had a "zero karma budget deficit." In the absence of the proof came blame. I can tell you that it is great to dissolve that whole tape loop.

Further!

Ken

Come quickly --- as soon as

these blossoms open,

they fall.

This world exists

as a sheen of dew on flowers.
